富士山ご来光号 Mt. Fuji Sunrise Bus

富士河口湖町と温泉旅館協同組合が中心となって、地平線から昇ってくる日の出(ご来光)という大自然からいただける「感動」を味わっていただけるよう「富士山ご来光ツアー」を企画いたしました。古来より山には不思議な力があると言われ、山岳信仰が各地に生まれました。特に富士山は「神が宿る聖地」とされ特別な力が備わった山と崇められ、江戸期には「富士講」という信仰集団が生まれるほどでした。7月1日の「山開き」から8月26日の「山じまい」まで多くの人々が、ふもとから徒歩で山頂を目指しました。今日では「富士スバルライン」が開通し車で簡単に五合目まで登れるようになりました。そこでふもとでは感じることのできない五合目からの日の出と朝の富士山を体験していただきたく「ご来光ツアー」を実施いたします。河口湖に宿泊したこの機会に、ちょっと早起きして「ご来光ツアー」に参加し、ここだけの感動”標高2,305mの日の出”を体験してくださいますようお誘い申し上げます。

About the Tour

Mt. Fuji Sunrise Tour was created by Town of Fuji-kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Hotels Association for our visitors to taste the impressive view of the rising sun from the horizon, a gift from nature. Our ancestors believed that there was a mysterious power with mountains and mountain worship was born in many areas of Japan. Mt. Fuji particular was believed to have a unique power and established its place as a sacred place, and the followers called ‘Fuji-ko’, a Shinto sect worshipping Mt. Fuji was born in the Edo period. People started their ascend from the very bottom of the mountain between ‘Opening of the mountain’ on 1st July and ‘Closing of the mountain’ on 26th August. These days, the climbing has become much easier with ‘Subaru Line’ where you can drive up to the 5th Station. We now would like you to experience the sun rise from the 5th Station, which you would not be able to at the foot. So why not getting up a little early to experience the majesty of ‘Sunrise from 2,305m high’. It sure will be another unforgettable memory of your holiday in Kawaguchiko.

※ 出発時間は各宿泊施設にお問い合わせください。※申し込みは各宿泊施設にて前日の１８:００まで受付。 ※ 雨天催行｡なお､気象条件によりご来光が見学できない場合がございます。また、道路状況およびイベント開催により、スバルラインが閉鎖等の場合は催行中止となりますのでご了承ください、 ※ ご来光を全く遥拝できなかった方には、次回無料で「ご来光号」をご利用いただける乗車券を各1枚ずつ進呈いたします。（但し、ご来光号催行中に限ります。）（無料乗車券の発行基準は「運輸機関」「五合園」の判断によります。）

Fine Print

* Please inquire at your accommodation for departure time.* Please purchase the tour tickets before 18:00 the day before at your accommodation.*Tour operates rain or shine, however, the sunrise may not be visible due to weather conditions. Please note the tour may be cancelled when Subaru Line is closed under harsh weather or events held in the area.*For those who could not see the sunrise at all, one free ticket per person will be provided which is redeemable on any Sunrise Tour when operating. (Issuing of the free tickets is on the discretion of ‘the transport operator’ and ‘Gogou-en restaurant/souvenir shop’ )
